The Clymer Museum endeavors to provide a venue for new and emerging artists, as well as creating exhibits of interest to the community at large. Many of our exhibits feature local artists, and often the artwork is available for purchase.

In conjunction with each exhibit the museum provides an opening reception where visitors have the opportunity to meet, discuss art and converse with the artists. Throughout the year the museum also provides a variety of guest speakers, special events, and artist demonstrations to their patrons.

"Our First Illustration Invitational"

  • June 6th thru July 27th
  • Featuring the Post Covers and illustrations of John Clymer, as well as a National juried show of illustrative art.
  • Local artist Ted Dempsey's colorful screen prints.

  • August 1st thru September 28th
  • The paintings of noted Canadian artist, Doug Levitt and the timeless work of Oregon’s Joelle Smith.

    • "Visions of the Past"

  • October 3rd thru November 2nd
  • Edward Curtis photographs.

    • "Home for the Holidays & Clymer Spectacular Miniature show"

  • November 7th thru December 28th
  • Many artists.
